Do you know what happens when you get a cold and when your eating at the same time? Do you know that you have more papilla then your parents? What you will be learning in this writing is how you taste and smell the food that you are eating.

How You Taste?  What I will be telling you about is how you taste and some parts of your tongue. You can taste your food by using your tongue it has little papilla on it and that is what helps you taste your food in your mouth, you can also taste by using your taste buds.

What Happens When You Have a Cold? When you have a cold, you are not able to smell or taste your  food in you mouth because…. When you have a cold the smell of the food goes to the stuff that is blocking your nose and that is what will happen when you have a cold.

What I learnt? I learnt that when you have a cold something is blocking your nose and stopping you from smelling and tasting your food.

Today we had to decide what we would keep Public Or Private.

Welcome and Kia ora. My name is Jacob. I go to Glen Taylor School. I live in Auckland. I am eight  years old. I love writing it is my favourite subject.  I have five sisters. I also have three brothers. I am maori and cook island. I have three pets. My pets names are Boy, Rose and Tani. Two of my brothers are in New Zealand and one is in Australia. Two of my sisters live in Whangarei. Three of my sisters live with me. There names are Tajanay, Nancy and Bernice. I love Writing because I am good  at telling my own story in my own time . One of my goals is to get better at Reading and Maths. I suck at Reading and Maths Because every time I Read I stop and sound it out and Maths I'm not so good at. I am looking forward to being better at everything. Mr Shanks inspires me because he is good at maths. I love sharing my ideas with others  because sometimes they work.
